Our Land Acknowledgement

Brew+Bloom acknowledges the land in which we reside on is Treaty Six Territory. We would like to thank the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose ancestors’ footsteps have marked this territory for centuries, such as nêhiyaw, Dene, Anishinaabe, Nakota Isga, and Niitsitapi peoples. 

Who Are We?

Located in the heart of downtown Edmonton, Brew+Bloom is an award-winning women-led business redefining the dining experience with flowers. We incorporate florals in all aspects of our business from the interiors of our restaurant right down to the food and drinks. Our menu is filled with beautiful, interactive, globally-inspired items because we believe good food can be playful and delicious.

Sam - Founder & Creative Director

Meet our founder and creative director, Sam. ​​​​​Sam is an event planner with almost a decade of experience in the industry. She has organized events of all sizes and created beautiful and memorable experiences for her clients. Although she was passionate about event planning, she was always saddened by the idea that it was all temporary. At the end of each night, the magic and beauty of her work had to be taken down. Driven by her desire to create permanent beautiful spaces for all to enjoy, she used her creative nature and keen eye for detail to create Brew + Bloom as a place people could visit time and time again.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​ Fun fact: Did you know Sam designed and produced all of our floral installations with the help of our team? During her time as an event planner, she also became experienced in floral design!​​​​​​​​


Meet Ann, our Operations Manager, joining the Brew + Bloom family with enthusiasm and expertise! Since February, she has been part of our team, and we’re delighted to have her on board. We asked Ann what she loves most about Brew + Bloom, and she is absolutely obsessed with our decor. When she’s is not here with us, you can find her exploring new recipes or catching up with the latest fashion trend!

Parker - Executive Chef

Meet Parker, our charming Executive Chef joined our team in late April 2022. He feels that Brew & Bloom has provided him with a unique opportunity to really lean into his personal style of cooking because of the eclectic mix of different cuisines with an emphasis on whimsical and nostalgic. Parker believes it gives him the chance to always be creating something new and fun for our customers while constantly push himself to improve his skills. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ When he isn't at work, you can find him tucked away with a great book. He will typically read around 20+ books a year ranging from cookbooks, and fantasy to comic books and manga.​​​​​​​​

Sha - Events Manager & General Manager

Meet Sha, our passionate Operations and Events Manager. There are many reasons why Sha enjoys working at Brew+Bloom, but it would be Brew+Bloom's playful and feminine take on food and dining that drew him to his current role. Sha loves the culture here within the company, and working here has provided him with an opportunity to utilize a different skill set than what he had been used to in his previous roles. A fun fact about Sha is that he is a huge Oilers fan and he hopes the team will bring home the cup one day soon! He also enjoys playing soccer recreationally.

Kayla - Bar Manager

Meet Kayla, our beloved bar manager! Kayla has been an integral part of our team since June 2021. She is incredibly kind and exceptionally knowledgeable with over 20 years of working in the service and hospitality industry. What drew her to her current role is her love for coffee which she developed from a young age from working at her family's cafe. Kayla is a passionate soul who loves creating unique and delicious drinks for all to enjoy. If she isn't working on developing our next drink, you can usually find her flexing her skills in the kitchen at home because of her deep love of cooking and baking.

Claire - Marketing Manager

Meet Claire, our Marketing & Creative Manager at Brew and Bloom! If you're wondering who you may be talking to in our social media messages, she is the one! You might see her occasionally walking through the cafe, snapping a few pictures here and there. Since joining us in September 2022, she has been working hard to make our Instagram feed beautiful and fun. She loves that she gets to have a lot of creative freedom working with us. Creating reels and Tik Toks is one of her favourite things to do. She also loves that she gets to work with a supportive and hard-working team. A fun fact about Claire is that she is a huge Lord of the Rings nerd.

Chris - Sous Chef

We are excited to introduce our Sous Chef Chris, who has been working with us since October. His positive and hardworking energy has been such a great addition to our team. We asked him what he enjoys most about working with us: “The creativity, and quality of ingredients we get to use for the cafe and the events we do”. When Chris is not working hard creating beautiful dishes in the kitchen, he is on the ice as a Hockey Official. Can you believe he has officiated over 7000 games in the last 13 years? We feel very lucky to have such a dedicated Sous Chef Extraordinaire at Brew + Bloom!


Meet Darren, our new Assistant General Manager, who came aboard in March 2024. We caught up with him to see how he’s finding his time with us so far, and he shared, “It’s a refreshing change of pace compared to most restaurants. The evening ambiance with the lighting is simply fantastic!” You may not have guessed it, but Darren is a big nerd at heart with a passion for anime and computers! We’re thrilled to welcome Darren to our team; his upbeat and friendly attitude has been a great addition to our team!
